Peligro en Quilpué: Socavón aparece en sector de Botania
Un socavón de considerable tamaño ha aparecido en el sector de Botania en Quilpué, generando gran preocupación entre las autoridades locales. Este incidente podría convertirse en el segundo socavón más grande de Chile, después del conocido socavón de Concón.
El fenómeno ha sido atribuido a las intensas lluvias del reciente sistema frontal que afectó la región durante el mes de junio. Las autoridades comunales, incluyendo al Municipio de Quilpué, el Servicio de Vivienda y Urbanismo (Serviu), la Delegación Presidencial Provincial, y el Servicio Nacional de Geología y Minería (Sernageomin), han tomado medidas para abordar la situación y mitigar los riesgos para los residentes de la zona.
Christian Cárdenas, ex gobernador de Marga Marga, comentó sobre la situación: “Referente a la situación que está ocurriendo en el sector Botania, en Canal Chacao, donde hay una cantidad importante de remoción de masa, lo primero que hay que hacer es que las autoridades, y en este caso los servicios públicos como el MOP y el Serviu, se hagan presentes y evalúen el terreno de una manera profesional, de manera de que nosotros podamos hacer, como lo hemos dicho siempre, una prevención ante un riesgo inminente y que ojalá no se transforme en el segundo o tercer socavón de la región de Valparaíso.”
