Incendio forestal en Quilpué lleva 100 hectáreas consumidas por el fuego
Aproximadamente 100 hectáreas consumidas por el fuego lleva el incendio forestal que afecta al sector Los Coligues en Quilpué. Este siniestro ha dejado hasta ahora una vivienda destruida, dos con daños y, además, mascotas muertas producto de las llamas, por lo que la Brigada de Rescate Animal se trasladó para prestar apoyo a los animales afectados.
Cabe señalar que, desde la Onemi se decretó Alerta Roja para la comuna por la intensidad del incendio.
De este modo, el director regional de Conaf, Luis Correa, indicó que en la emergencia están participando 11 brigadas y cuatro aviones de Conaf, compañía de bomberos de Limache, Villa Alemana, Quilpué y Viña del Mar. “El siniestro se encuentra activo en dos de sus flancos, lo que significa una preocupación para el día de hoy”, señaló.
La alcaldesa, Valeria Melipillán, indicó que el incendio se desplazó al sector de Las Mesetas, lugar donde está focalizado todo el trabajo de Conaf y equipos de emergencia.
Por otra parte, la Onemi, escribió en el sitio oficial que, “En consideración a estos antecedentes, la Delegación Presidencial Regional de Valparaíso, en base a la información técnica de CONAF y en coordinación con la Dirección Regional de Onemi declara alerta roja para la comuna de Quilpué por incendio forestal, vigente desde hoy y hasta que las condiciones del incendio así lo ameriten”.
“Se movilizarán todos los recursos necesarios y disponibles, en apoyo adicional a lo ya desplegado por CONAF, Bomberos y el Sistema Nacional de Prevención y Respuesta ante Desastres (SINAPRED), de esta forma se actuará para controlar la situación, dada la extensión y severidad del evento”, finalizó el comunicado.
