Municipalidad de Quillota inauguró nuevo y moderno Centro de Imagenología
El nuevo recinto demandó una inversión de unos 500 millones de pesos y permite realizar ecografías, endoscopías y mamografías
Como un importante paso en la calidad de la atención que reciben los quillotanos y quillotanas, calificó el alcalde de Quillota Oscar Calderón, la puesta en marcha del nuevo Centro de Imagenología de la Municipalidad de Quillota.
El nuevo recinto está ubicado a un costado del Servicio de Alta Resolutividad (SAR) de calle Bulnes y demandó una inversión de 500 millones de pesos, entre infraestructura y equipamiento, aportados por el Servicio de Salud Viña del Mar – Quillota y la municipalidad local.
Inauguración
El Centro de Imagenología, fue inaugurado en una ceremonia encabezada por el alcalde de Quillota, Oscar Calderón; la directora del Servicio de Salud Viña del Mar – Quillota (SSVQ), Andrea Quiero Gelmi; el director de SaludQuillota Víctor Alvarado; quienes estuvieron acompañados por las concejalas Daniela Merino, Karen Madrid; los concejales, Eduardo Ormazábal y Carlos Pacheco, además autoridades del departamento de salud quillotano.
Al respecto el alcalde Oscar Calderón, dijo que es un gran avance en la resolutividad y en la calidad de la atención de los quillotanos y quillotanas.
«Esto no ocurre usualmente en las comunas. Estamos hablando de un Centro de Imagenología que va a tener atención especializada. Estamos hablando de un centro que dentro de las especialidades va tener la posibilidad de hacer endoscopía y poder percatarse a nivel preventivo del cáncer de mama con las mamografías. Esto se coloca a disposición de vecinos y vecinas de Quillota, desde la atención primaria, desde la atención municipal. Es una señal potente de descentralización, que permite seguir innovando en este tipo de prestaciones», explicó la autoridad quillotana.
Por su parte Andrea Quiero Gelmi, directora del SSVQ, destacó el trabajo conjunto entre municipio y equipo de salud, que permite contar con una mayor resolutividad en los servicios a la población.
«Estamos super contentos con esta iniciativa, de dirigir los recursos hacia una mayor resolutividad para que la salud esté más cerca de las personas, eso es lo que nos preocupa y nos ocupa. Hemos encontrado en el equipo municipal liderado por su alcalde y concejo municipal, un aliado perfecto para hacer posible que los recursos se distribuyan de una manera virtuosa, trayendo estas prestaciones más cerca de las personas. Acá en Quillota, es posible pensar que la gente viva mejor, porque tenemos autoridades que, con el esfuerzo desde el Estado, desde el Gobierno, permiten hacer cosas concretas como este centro imagenología, que permite tomar mamografías, hacer ecografías, de manera cercana, virtuosa y gratuita», manifestó Andrea Quiero.
Detalles
El doctor Dagoberto Duarte, encargado del complejo Bulnes de SaludQuillota, explicó que el centro de imagenología tiene como beneficiarios y beneficiarias a toda la población de Quillota, especialmente a la población beneficiaria del sector público, que está inscrita en Fonasa e inscrita en alguno de los centros de la red SaludQuillota, es decir unas 100 mil personas.
«Hay ciertas prestaciones que están dirigidas a cierto grupo de personas, por ejemplo, las mamografías están destinadas especialmente a mujeres que están en edad de riesgo de desarrollar un cáncer mamario y este examen lo que hace es permitir un examen precoz para detectarlo y eventualmente hacer un tratamiento. También está la endoscopía que es para personas que tengan cáncer gástrico, hombres o mujeres; las ecografías que también permiten detectar patología biliar que también son predispuestas al cáncer, es decir es un conjunto de prestaciones que lo que hacen es prevenir el cáncer en sus distintas manifestaciones», indicó Duarte.
El Centro de Imagenología cuenta con 3 box, destinados para mamografías, endoscopía y ecografía, con una dotación de 10 funcionarios.
