Minsal confirma el tercer caso de Viruela del Mono en Chile
El Ministerio de Salud informa que el Instituto de Salud Pública (ISP) confirmó mediante el análisis de PCR un tercer caso de Viruela del Mono en el país.
Se trata de una persona adulta de la Región Metropolitana y corresponde a un contacto estrecho del primer caso confirmado en el país.
El caso fue detectado en el estudio de contacto realizado por la Autoridad Sanitaria Regional entidad que se encuentra realizando las acciones de control respectiva, aplicando el protocolo de vigilancia establecido por el Ministerio de Salud.
La persona se encuentra en buenas condiciones de salud, sin complicaciones y cumpliendo periodo de aislamiento.
