Preocupación por la Seguridad en la Feria de El Belloto: “no queremos que se transforme en la feria de lo valledor”
La seguridad en la feria de El Belloto ha generado creciente preocupación entre locatarios y asistentes, quienes denuncian la presencia de riñas, comercio ilegal, y una sensación constante de inseguridad. Christian Cárdenas, ex gobernador del Marga Marga, instó a las autoridades locales y dirigentes a trabajar en conjunto para implementar medidas efectivas que protejan a los visitantes y al personal expuesto a delitos. Asimismo, dos locatarios, bajo anonimato por miedo a represalias, expresaron su descontento, señalando la falta de compromiso y fiscalización por parte de las autoridades municipales.
Según Cárdenas, la situación actual en la feria de El Belloto es preocupante, ya que podría transformarse en un ambiente similar a la «Feria de Lo Valledor» de la Quinta Región si no se toman medidas con prontitud. Señaló la necesidad de una inversión real en la feria, incluyendo arreglos en los módulos, instalación de cámaras de seguridad y contratación de personal capacitado en seguridad.

Los locatarios, por su parte, denuncian la falta de respuesta por parte de las autoridades municipales a sus constantes solicitudes de audiencia. Describieron la feria como un «terreno de nadie», donde proliferan actividades ilegales como transacciones de drogas, prestamistas con el método gota a gota, y venta de productos sin regulación alguna. Además, lamentaron la competencia desleal que representan los comerciantes ambulantes, tanto dentro como fuera del recinto de la feria, que operan sin pagar permisos ni cumplir con regulaciones.

El descontento de los locatarios se intensifica al observar la falta de presencia policial y de inspectores municipales en la zona. A pesar de la existencia de una ordenanza que regula el comercio ambulante en las calles cercanas a la feria, la falta de fiscalización ha permitido que la situación empeore con el tiempo.
Ante esta problemática, tanto Cárdenas como los comerciantes, coinciden en la urgencia de una acción concreta por parte de las autoridades municipales. Solicitan un compromiso real y efectivo para abordar los problemas de seguridad y comercio ilegal en la feria de El Belloto, con la colaboración activa de la comunidad, carabineros y dirigentes locales. La falta de respuesta adecuada podría poner en riesgo la integridad de los visitantes y la viabilidad misma de la feria como un espacio seguro y próspero para todos.
